Podar Jumbo Kids

Podar Jumbo Kids is the preschool section of Podar International School. All Podar International School’s have a Podar Jumbo Kids preschool and this is where the student’s journey with Podar begins.

All our Podar Jumbo Kids have Nursery, Junior Kg and Senior Kg sections and students who are studying in the Podar Jumbo Kids of Podar International School are assured admission into Std 1 of Podar International School KIDUCATION is the core educational belief of Podar Jumbo Kids. KIDUCATION as the name suggests is education from the point of view of the child’s development and so KIDUCATION ensures that the activities and learning that kids are exposed to at their age is relevant, developmentally appropriate, culturally specific and hands on.

EYFS Curriculum

The EYFS – Early Years foundation Stage is the curriculum framework of United Kingdom. The Podar Jumbo Kids curriculum is designed to encourage learning outcomes that focus on nurturing children to develop holistically, morally, aesthetically and globally including knowledge acquisition and academic skills. Based on the EYFS curriculum these learning outcomes are divided into the following and in-depth assessments are done at each age-stage on every area of learning.The EYFS Framework explains how and what your child will be learning to support their healthy development. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development.

The 3 R’s – Rhythm, Reverence and Repetition.

Rhythm – As we are well aware that music and movement has a positive impact on brain development. It is important that this ability is taught right from the early years and what better way to do it, then through songs. At Podar Jumbo Kids, we do it through finger plays and action songs.

Reverence – we support children to revere the environment, to revere nature and to revere everything around them. Our activities of Tel Chi, Yoga, Gardening help children understand themselves and the world around them.

Repetition – children learn by repetition, repetition reinforces concepts and learning in a novel and unusual manner to make it more interesting for children.
